"Shine Bright" Exhibition - Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair 2017

From 27 Oct to 30 Oct 2017, we took part in the Singapore Jewellery and Gem Fair 2017 together with The Gem Museum to present "Shine Bright" Exhibition.

"Shine Bright" was one of the exhibits highlight by The Gem Museum. This exhibit was in line with the breast cancer awareness month in October and presented with Gemstones on Lingerie Sets.

It was a collaboration between The Gem Museum, Parkway Cancer Centre and BloomBack to raise awareness on breast cancer. It was done in honour of women who stand strong in face of life adversities and the beauty of their inner strength illuminates in the darkness, especially in the fight against breast cancer.

For a good social cause, Parkway Cancer Centre also sponsored a free mammogram to marginalised women with every 5 pink flower pots sold by Bloomback during their campaign.

With all that in mind, Far East Gems & Jewellery worked closely with The Gem Museum to conceptualize and create the special exhibits.  After some intense brainstorming, we came up with the idea to do up 3 Gemstones on Lingerie sets that could bring out our messages.

More about the 3 Exhibits:

1. "Pink Bloom" - the central theme of breast cancer awareness.

It speaks of women empowered to take an active role and blooming in the pink of health. It featured a flower design set with pink and red gemstones such has pink tourmaline and ruby.

2. "Blossoming Strength" - speaks of women cancer warriors who hold the fort and stand strong to fight against adversities.

It was set in an armour-inspired design using precious A-jade pieces and champagne brown diamonds.
