Dimensions, treatment and care
Compare length, width and dome height beside the weight. Ask whether turquoise is untreated, stabilised, dyed or another material. Protect it from harsh chemicals, oils and knocks, and avoid steam or ultrasonic cleaning.
Questions buyers ask
Does a heavier cabochon always look larger?
No. More weight can be carried in the dome or depth. Compare measured dimensions and face-up appearance.
